Even though DP1 is already ready the company hasn't yet done with the release. The two new models DP2 and DP3 will presumably share in common the same sort of full-frame sensor that reduces noise while still increasing sensitivity. They are also likely to come with cropped technology that artificially shifts the focal length of the lens.

Fujifilm FinePix F50fd

Fujifilm FinePix F50fd Main Image
It’s pretty startling how much camera you can get for less than 250 beans this winter. The F50fd is a good example with 12-megapixel resolution, mechanical and digital image stabilization, a larger-than-normal LCD screen and the latest version of Face Detection (2.0 to be exact). Let’s put this is a little perspective, shall we? It was just six years ago Sony broke the $1,000 USD barrier with a 5-megapixel camera (DSC-F707). Since digital cameras age in dog years, the industry has completely changed since then and 5MP is entry level—if you can even find one. For the record, Canon still leads the megapixel parade with the 21.1MP EOS 1Ds Mark III for eight grand so 12-megapixels is really no big deal with affordable models (sub $300 USD) readily available including the Kodak V1253 and many others along with this FinePix. And you know prices of 12MP models will continue to slide when 14-megapixel point-and-shoot editions arrive in 2008.

JVC Everio GZ-MG740 Camcorder has 10GB More Space

JVC Everio GZ-MG740 camcorder
Ok first of all why did you not, yes you JVC announce this new Everio GZ-MG740 camcorder priced at ¥100,000 ($942 approx) last week with all your other models. Ok we will let them answer that in their own time.

This is a newer version because they have just raised the GB space, now a 40GB compared to the 30GB GZ-MG730 which means 10GB more disk space. Ok so other than the more GB what else has it got to offer?

Well to tell you the truth it is basically the same as the GZ-MG730 model featuring a 7.38 megapixel which shoots 720 x 480 pixel video, what we want to know is do you really care for the 1.3-inch hard disk camcorder seeing as it is in the family of non-HD shooters?

ModPocket Camera Tripod: Easily fits on your keychain

ModPocket Camera Tripod
Let us start by saying “It does not have 3 legs”, ok now that’s out of the way what is it then? This ModPocket Camera Tripod is a fantastic device that screws into the tripod thread at the bottom of your digital camera, this will now provide you with a much better and stable platform for you to take your photographs.

The full name of this gadget is called the Manfrotto 797 Modo Pocket camera mount and is so small once it is folded up it will easily fit to your keychain. I really do love this little stand because of the whole design and the way it is all hinged, it makes it much easier to adjust the angle of your camera.

The ModPocket Camera Tripod has four little rubber feet (how cute) to help stabilize the camera. So far we have only seen this in France but maybe you could get one shipped to you if you want it that bad, Digi-Photo seem to have it.
