RoboRaptor - present day Tyrannosaurus Rex

Dinosaurs will once again rule the earth! Well, maybe not the earth but you can cause havoc in your living room with your very own remote control raptor! Imagine crossing a Velociraptor with the Terminator... actually don't imagine that it's not a very pleasant thought. The RoboRaptor is the creation of the former NASA scientist Mark Tilden, the brains behind the Robosapien. Except this time he's gone dino-crazy! The RoboRaptors length is over a whopping 80cm and is fully controllable using its sleek game controller style remote. You can either program the RoboRaptor to follow your every command or perhaps let it roam freely in autonomous mode. The impressive thing about the RoboRaptor is the way it moves. It uses fluid biomorphic motion giving it a very realistic effect. It also has touch sensors so it knows when you are interacting with it. So depending on which mode the RoboRaptor is using, will depend on whether you get a nasty bite or a friendly snuggle! The Robo Raptor is also a bit smarter than it's extinct predecessor too, check out this cool repto-gadget.

Featuring an accurate 'red dot' targeting system, LCD scoring screens, ultra-realistic removable scopes and a 75 metre range, it's the ultimate in laser-based warfare. Your move, creep!Engaging in laser-based warfare usually involves a cross-dimensional trip to a dystopian future where robots rule. Or a drive to one of those laser tag centres on a grim industrial estate off the motorway. But thanks to the amazing Laser Challenge Pro, you won't need to time travel or compare notes with a load of weekend warriors. This pro-standard battle set is loaded with hi-tech features and it completely redefines the concept of home/office laser tag. Laserpod
Remember the nebulous, psychedelic sky from Flash Gordon? (We're talking 'Gordon's Alive?' Flash, not the rickety old B/W series). Well imagine looking at it through a kaleidoscope from inside Jim Morrison's altered state of mind and you'd begin to understand the mesmerizing beauty of the Laserpod. Yes indeed, light lovers; using the latest in laser, LED and crystal optics, the incredible Laserpod brings science and nature together to create ever-changing organic light forms of profound beauty. At least that's what it says on the box. But in this case, we'd have to agree.

Picoz Sky Challenger
RC helicopters? Armed with lasers? Capable of disabling each other's engines? No, we haven't lost our marbles, returned from the future or even overdosed on bad sci-fi; we've been playing with the amazing PicoZ Sky Challenger Battle Pack.Sky Challenger is the battling helicopter set that allows couch potato pilots to shoot down enemy whirlybirds with a well-placed infra red blast. If you remember the movie Blue Thunder starring him out of Jaws you'll know exactly what we mean.Actually if you do remember Blue Thunder you're too old to be playing 'woka-woka, I'm going down!' style games. But don't let that put you off because this is one of the most entertaining playthings in the history of pretend aerial warfare. Incredibly manoeuvrable with nifty auto stability, each rechargeable micro chopper can take off, hover, descend, turn left, right and move forward. And that's just as well because avoiding your opponent's laser requires some pretty fancy moves. If you do get hit your helicopter's motor temporarily cuts out causing it to spin towards terra firma. But fear not, PicoZ helicopters are surprisingly robust. Besides, once you've honed your skills you should be able to remain airborne and avoid biting the carpet. You and your opponent control the action via smart little handheld transmitters that double up as chargers. They even feature built-in speakers that rata-tat-tat every time you hit the fire button. Thrilling? Conducting mid-air battles with a pair of Sky Challengers is like...erm, well it's like nothing else around because even real helicopters have yet to add laser beams to their weaponry. And even when they do, you won't be able enjoy beam-blasting mid-air battles sitting on the sofa or loafing at your desk. So woka-woka are you waiting for? Look out, incoming 3 o'clock!
