AU Optronics develops a new touchscreen technology
In the catch-up run to yield more low cost-effective display solution, AU Optronics, a Taiwanese based company has developed a new touchscreen technology that could drive down the price of the iPhone as well as other smartphones and similar devices. The new technology will be cheaper by about 40% as compared to what we've seen in iPhone.
